Forged Double Star-15 Lower Receiver. Double Star begins with 7075 T6 Aluminum alloy forging, which is then CNC machined to give them one of the best lower receivers made. They incorporate the latest reinforcement area around the front pivot pin and reinforcing ridge over the buffer tube area, as well as the full fence around the magazine catch button to minimize accidental magazine release. Their lowers are finished with a black hard coat anodization for maximum durability.
